About

I have been living in Hamden for over 15 years. I went to Quinnipiac University for 4 years starting in 2001 and graduated in 2005, and returned back to town in 2006 and made my home here. As a student I did not do as much exploring of the town, as Quinnipiac offered us all we needed, and I did not venture out as much, only to do some grocery shopping and dining out on Dixwell Avenue. So, I was limited to shopping at Old Navy and dining at Chile's.

Now as a resident, I have found out how much the town has to offer and how much I missed out throughout the years when I was a student.

As a student I wasn't aware of all the things to do in town; the music, art, boutiques, the lovely restaurants, the beautiful scenery and trails to walk.

I am able to introduce places for others to enjoy in Hamden that I wish someone had introduced to me.

My goal with this blog is to give you a different perspective on places you have tried, introduce you to places you didn't know of, and share things I like in the town of Hamden.
